A teenage visitor headbutted a Blackpool man who pointed out he was causing a disturbance trying to get into a hotel.
Neil Robb, 19, of Fleming Way, Hamilton, Scotland, pleaded guilty to assault.
He was sentenced to do 100 hours work for the community and ordered to pay £100 compensation plus £60 victims’ surcharge by District Judge Huw Edwards sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
Claire Harris, prosecuting, said a man heard Robb banging on the door of a Blackpool hotel on June 21 at 3am. When the man asked if he could help and commented the defendant was making a lot of noise, Robb headbutted him making his nose bleed.
Howard Green, defending, said Robb’s friend had left him at a party and gone back to their hotel with the key. Robb had been drinking vodka and had little recollection of what happened.
