A St Annes-based cancer charity is gearing up for one of its major fund-raising events.
The Swallows Head and Neck Cancer Charity, which is campaigning to get all boys vaccinated against the Human Papilloma Virus, is calling on businesses and workers to consider holding their festive party at their Gala Dinner.
The feast will take place at the Winter Gardens on December 13 and tickets are available via Mark@theswallows.org.UK
It costs £35 per head or £350 per table of 10 for a four-course meal, pre-dinner drinks, entertainment, auction, raffle and a disco.
The charity says although the NHS immunises girls to help prevent cervical cancer, it should also immunise boys to help stop the spread of the disease and to protect them.
