This lovable pooch is looking for a long term foster home.
Duchess, a brindle mastiff, suffers from a rare muscle condition in her hips which will shorten her life.
The four-year-old is currently being cared for by Blackpool RSPCA after her previous owner fell ill.
A spokeswoman for the RSPCA said: “She is very friendly with people and children.
“She likes most dogs, except smaller dogs, and she did have an incident with one in her previous foster home, so is best being walked on harness and lead rather than collar and lead.
“She is well house trained and walks well on a harness.”
No donation is required to re-home Duchess as inspectors do not want her to spend the rest of her short life in kennels.
