Former Blackpool player Alex Baptiste has been arrested following a brawl outside a bar.
Alex Baptiste, 28, is alleged to have caused actual bodily harm.
One man was knocked unconscious and lost several teeth in the alleged incident in Poulton.
Two police officers on duty nearby arrested Baptiste at 1.35am and he is currently on police bail until later this month.
Defender Baptiste currently plays for Bolton Wanderers and had a season playing Premier League football with Blackpool.
He made 170 appearances for the Seasiders scoring eight goals - including one in Pool’s 4-0 opening day victory at Wigan Athletic.
The incident took place outside the Uber bar in Vicarage Road, Poulton.
Baptiste lives in Lytham.
A 23-year-old man from Poulton was also arrested on suspicion of assault and has also been bailed.
