Rossall Beach Residents and Community Group will host their first craft classes at Cleveleys Community Centre on Wednesday.

Rubbish collected by children from Northfold Primary School will be recycled to form part of a new exhibition.

Jane Littlewood, chairman of the community group, said: “It’s amazing what kind of rubbish washes up, and we’ll be recycling some of it into all kinds of masterpieces that we’ll be using in an exhibition, as part of our roadshow and online to highlight the importance of looking after our coastline for people and for the wildlife which calls it home.”

The session at the Kensington Road venue begins at 1.30pm.
