A MAN handed himself into police after throwing a brick through a bank window.
The 26-year-old alerted a passer by and admitted to smashing the front window of Barclays Bank, on Crescent East, in Cleveleys.
Police were called to the scene at 6.15am yesterday, where they arrested the man, who is from Bolton.
Insp Graeme Smith, Lancashire Police’s force incident manager, said: “We got a call from a bloke who said a lad just came up to him and asked him to call the police so we could lock him up because he’d thrown a brick through Barclays’ window.”
The man has been charged with criminal damage and was bailed until March 14.
