These children are making strides in a bid to create a walking bus for their school.
The pupils at Manor Beach Primary School, Cleveleys, formed a walking bus to learn about healthy lifestyles, eco-friendly transport and road safety as part of National Walking Bus Day.
They were joined by PCSOs to learn about road safety before enjoying a mile-long walk.
Setting off from the school on Manor Drive children from reception to Year Six walked along the Promenade and Beach Road on Tuesday.
Now the school plans to set up a permanent walking bus service to take children to school each morning.
Teaching assistant Julie Scantlebury said: “A walking bus would improve punctuality, be a step towards our eco-award and encourage healthy activities.”
Children have also raised money to donate to Brake, a charity which supports families of children killed in road traffic accidents.
