Children hurt in charity shop crash

TWO children were taken to hospital after a collision between two cars - which led to one vehicle crashing into a shop.

The accident happened on South Westby Street, Lytham, at 4.20pm on Saturday.

It is believed a Land Rover was in collision with a BMW 318 which contained two adults and two children.

The BMW was shunted across the road from the Westby Street Car Park and into the side of the Rotary House building.

Fire crews, Police and ambulances attended the scene and the children were taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital to be checked over.

Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
