These fitness instructors made a splashing good effort for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

Suzy Clayton-Jones and Leigh Hamilton held fund-raising exercise classes as part of the charity’s Wear It, Beat It campaign day.

They both collected donations throughout the week from their community classes.

Suzy said: “I took a party Zumba aqua class at Ribby Hall, then went over to the YMCA pool in St Annes for another pool party and then to Blackpool, to Boundary Primary School, for a Zumba party.

“All customers wore a red item and donated whatever they could.

“I teach a lot of 60-plus ladies, and there were a few who had heart problems themselves or dealt with family members with heart issues, so it seemed a great charity to support.

“Everybody did a great job, and our class members were very supportive and generous.”
