A keen cyclist has taken on an Olympic route, riding over Box Hill in London in a charity effort.

Joanne Adams, a member of Travel Blackpool, from Marton, took part in the Ride London-Surrey 100 to raise money for North West Air Ambulance, on Tuesday.

The 32-year-old completed the race, covering part of the London 2012 cycling road race, in six hours and nine minutes.
