These two women are being hunted by police investigating a theft from a Blackpool petrol station.

Officers have released this image (above), taken from CCTV footage from the Esso garage, on Devonshire Road, in a bid to identify the pair, who they want to question in connection with the incident.

It relates to a theft that occurred at the Esso Service Station, on Devonshire Road, at around 9:35pm where items worth £21 were stolen from the shop

It follows reports items worth £21 were taken from the shop on February 2.

The pair are believed to have been in the store at around 9.35pm, when the offence is reported to have taken place.

So far, the women have yet to be identified and no arrests have been made.

PC Andrew Parr, of Blackpool Police, said: “I would like to trace the two females shown in the image.

“It relates to a theft that occurred at the Esso Service Station, on Devonshire Road, at around 9:35pm where items worth £21 were stolen from the shop.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101, quoting crime reference WA1501222.
