Community groups in Fylde have been urged to take advantage of a scheme which provides up to £2,000 to help boost projects.
The Fylde Community Projects Fund replaces the former Fylde Local Strategic Partnership.
Cash grants of up to £2,000 are available from the fund and all grants must be matched by funds raised elsewhere.
Projects should increase employment prospects, reduce crime, protect the environment, promote learning or improve health and wellbeing.
Tracy Morrison, Fylde Council’s director of resources, said: “These grants have been offered for the last six years and I’m pleased that we can extend them until April 2014 and then again to April 2015.
“These are only relatively small sums of money – but a small amount can go a long way when you match the grant to money raised elsewhere.”
All bids will be considered by a panel.
