Two resort attractions named as UK's best
Blackpool Tower and the Pleasure Beach have been named as two of the nation's favourite coastal attractions.
Park Resorts’ survey of 1,000 UK adults ranked the Pleasure Beach at number three with eight per cent of the votes, behind St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall and Whitby Abbey.
The Tower got seven per cent of the votes and was listed at number five.
Scottish respondents listed the Pleasure Beach as their favourite resort, with 16 per cent of the vote, while Londoners favoured Brighton Pier.
