A Fylde business woman has marked the celebrations for her 50th birthday by landing a new sales job with a Lancashire telecoms provider.
Tracy Hampson has bolstered the sales team at Abbey Telecom, joining the company as business development manager.
In her new role, she will be leading on sales development opportunities and field based training for new clients on the wide range of Samsung systems and phone packages offered by the telecoms provider. Tracy, who lives in St Annes with her partner Simon Davis the sales director at Fred Coupe Nissan in Preston, worked with the company six years ago.
She said: “The new job is really the perfect birthday present and it’s great to start work again with a close knit family firm I already know.
“The sales environment gives me an exciting challenge but in my former role I often inadvertently stumbled across new orders whilst training with different clients and contacts.”
Abbey Telecom serves a wide variety of Blackpool organisations such as the Palatine School, the Queen’s Hotel (South Promenade), Caro Collinson and Virdee dental practice and the Briardene Hotel in Thornton Cleveleys.
Managing director Tony Raynor said: “The whole team here is delighted about Tracy’s return to support our sales department.
“We’ve been looking to recruit for some weeks now and Tracy was the perfect fit.”
