Miller and Carter Steakhouse is to open at a former Harvester pub in Poulton-le-Fylde.

The restaurant, part of the Mitchells and Butler stable of pub brands, will replace the High Cross Harvester, also part of the group.

It is due to open in the autumn following an extensive refurbishment, which is set to commence next month.

Located on Longhouse Lane, the new Miller and Carter will be the second Lancashire-based site for the brand, following the success of Miller and Carter Aughton.

Mitchells and Butlers said the change was part of the group’s commitment to continually review its estate.

As well as receiving an exterior makeover, the restaurant will also boast the new interiors that Miller and Carter is known for, including booth seating and modern artwork.

Tim Ellis, regional business manager at Miller and Carter, said: “Bringing a second Miller and Carter to Lancashire is a fantastic opportunity for the brand and we look forward to providing even more customers with the best steaks and service that Miller and Carter is renowned for across the UK.”

He said the restaurants serve only premium, graded beef, which is sourced from carefully selected cattle reared on sustainable British and Irish farms. All team members attend ‘steak school’ to ensure they know the process of the perfect steak.
