THE county’s own business Oscars are up for grabs once more as the annual search for all that is best in business gets under way.
Billed as “the one they all want to win”, the BIBAS are run by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce (NWLCC).
Firmly embedded in the county’s social calendar the event will once again celebrate business achievement in Lancashire for individuals, small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and larger organisations.
Attracting high profile industry support, the awards offer businesses the chance to promote their achievements while celebrating success.
They are free to enter and there is a varied selection of categories to suit every business.
NWLCC chief executive Babs Murphy said: “We’re extremely proud to play our part in supporting, nurturing and encouraging excellence in the business sector.
“The BIBAs are designed to genuinely recognise excellence in the business community, acknowledging the successes of manufactures, service providers and retailers of all sizes and from all sectors – those businesses who truly set the standard.
“In the recent challenging economic times, businesses are having to diversify and think differently in order to survive and strive for success.
“The awards provide the ideal opportunity for businesses to shine.”
For anyone who has a company with something to be proud of, the awards provide an ideal opportunity to do something about it by highlighting the good work done by staff.
