A BLACKPOOL pub will be calling last orders before a huge revamp on Sunday, April 14.

Regulars still have another few days to get served at the The Outside Inn at Whitegate Business Park, despite a report which stated it was due to close last Sunday.

The £175,000 transformation will see it re-launch as a Fayre & Square pub, creating up to 10 new jobs.

The pub on Hallam Way reopens on Friday, April 26 and is to have its unique interior restored, creating a more open plan layout with additional furniture and new kitchen equipment.

The pub has an old English village interior with a starlit ceiling, a 15ft waterfall and cobble flooring.

General Manager Richard Johnson said: “Our pub is unique and I think it’s important we are retaining its personality.”
