Pizza Hut Restaurants was today unveiling a £250,000 restaurant makeover at its Ocean Boulevard Hut on the Promenade, creating 25 new jobs for the town.
The reopening is part of an initial half-million pound investment in Lancashire by the casual dining brand. It follows the launch of a brand new menu.
Restaurant manager Paul Rose said, “We can’t wait to invite guests to enjoy the new look Hut and hope they are as excited by the fantastic refurbishment as all the team here. The new menu has already gone down a treat with customers and we’re delighted to have a modern restaurant design to match.”
The redesigned restaurant provides a more open and inviting dining space, and also benefits from enhanced lighting schemes and bolder external facades, showcasing the fresh food and vibrant atmosphere to set the benchmark in design and hospitality standards for the casual dining industry.
Newest member of staff, Ellany Hayden said, “I love the new look of the restaurant, the uniform is cool and the food on the new menu is fantastic.”
The investment at Blackpool is part of a broader £60 million refurbishment and restructuring programme for the business, secured through private equity investment from Rutland Partners in late 2012.
Pizza Hut Restaurants’ newly redesigned Hut can be found at Unit 3/4 Ocean Boulevard, The Promenade, Blackpool FY4 1PL.
