Entrepreneur Peter Lui, who is also well-known as a trustee of Blackpool Chinese Community Association, has opened Luxsun Ltd in
Poulton.

China is the world’s leader in LED lights manufacturing and Peter is hoping to switch on to the huge potential for trade in the energy efficient field. His Poulton Business Park company is a specialist supplier of domestic, commercial and industrial LED lighting and has become the latest success story from Blackpool Council’s Get Started scheme, which celebrates nine years of supporting new and existing companies. Providing a professional solution to LED lighting, Luxsun manufactures and stocks a wide range of high quality LED solutions from decorative ceiling lights and external lighting to LED tubes and emergency lighting. Peter said: “I spent the first eight years of my working life in the merchant navy as a radio and electronics officer and then 20 years as a restaurateur in Blackpool in the family business. It was great but this opportunity came up last year which was linked to my background in electronics and I jumped at the chance.
