A Blackpool IT firm has expanded its services with the addition of two new IT engineers.

Infinium IT and its Wi-Fi business, Clarity Wireless now employs 23 people and aims to turnover £2m this financial year at their base in Faraday Way.

Pete Ryder, will join the company’s field team, while Mark Aspin will join the Infinium’s 7 day support team. Collectively, the new engineers have over 40 years experience in the IT sector.

Pete, 33, joins Infinium after running his own IT consultancy.

He said: “After working on my own in my consultancy, I wanted to become part of a strong team of experts, where we can share our knowledge which will ultimately benefit the client.

“It’s great to be in a business which has a passion for delivering the right type of IT solution for clients.”

Mark , 41, brings with him a wealth of experience gained in the NHS and prior to that in the education sector.

He said: “Infinium has a first class support function and I’m looking forward to being part of a customer focussed team.”

Peter Miles, managing director of Infinium IT said: “The new appointments to the business signal our intention to provide our clients with access to the best support and technical team available.

“As we look to grow our business and turn our attention to new markets, we need the best people to help us achieve this. In Peter and Mark, we have two people that add further expertise to our already strong team.”

Infinium IT recently expanded its business with the acquired Clarity Wireless for an un-disclosed sum earlier in the year.
