THE decision to move offices is paying dividends for a Fylde coast motor company.

Lancaster Vehicle Solutions (LVS) had to leave its offices above Marks and Spencer in St Annes after Travelodge bought the property and announced plans for one of its budget hotels.

Now, the move to St Andrews Road North has given the business its first on-street premises.

The firm’s Carly Webster said: “We’re really pleased with the new premises – we’ve got our own signage and it’s given us more of a presence in the area.

“Since moving here we’re doing really well on daily rentals.”

The firm started life as a motor finance company, but has since diversified into a larger motoring firm.

Carly added: “We’re now like a large dealership run from an office; we do contract hire and leasing, new and used car sales, daily rentals and a garage facility – we’ve become a one-stop shop and repair centre.

“Not a lot of people in the area knew about us.

“We were a bit hidden away before.

“With our new premises, more and more people can see what we have to offer.”

The firm has also applied for planning permission to advertise on its forecourt.
