The North West Society of Chartered Accountants (NWSCA) has announced three new category sponsors for its annual awards, which take place on November 28.
The awards, whose closing date for nominations is October 21, see the NWSCA celebrate the outstanding achievements of the area’s best companies and individuals throughout the business community.
The new sponsors are Xero, a renowned accounting software company; Enterprise Ventures, a leading provider of venture capital; and The Write Angle, a Chorley-based PR and marketing agency.
Enterprise Ventures, which provides finance for SMEs in England and Wales, is sponsoring the ‘Corporate Finance Team of the Year category. Mike Walker, investment director at Enterprise Ventures, said: “We are proud to sponsor these prestigious awards. Recognising excellence is important in any field of work, and awards like these give us the rare chance to honour the finest businesses and professionals across a range of industries.” Xero, a company with offices in the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand, is sponsoring the ‘Finance Director of the Year category. The Write Angle – itself an award-winning agency – is sponsoring the ‘Intermediary of the Year’ category.
Mark Schofield, president of NWSCA, and director of Haworths Accounts, said: “It’s a pleasure to have three more successful businesses come on board to sponsor the awards, and I am pleased that they are committed to recognising those who inspire excellence.”
