A Blackpool MP is calling on schools to make money lessons count.

Gordon Marsden, MP for Blackpool South, wants to see schools giving pupils a head start on learning about finances before it becomes part of the national curriculum in September.

The Labour MP’s calls come ahead of My Money Week, run by financial education charity Personal Finance Education Group (PFEG), from June 9 to 15.
