A former Pigeon Fanciers Club looks set to be demolished to make way for new homes.
Proposals have been lodged with Blackpool Council seeking planning permission for two detached houses on the site adjacent to the Stanley Conservative Club, on Common Edge Road, Marton.
A design statement accompanying the application says the land has become available for development following the closure of the club in 2008.
It adds: “We are intending to construct two detached dwellings, in staggered tandem positions, to sell at appropriate market value for this popular residential area of Marton.
“Access will be from Common Edge Road.”
