The last chance to take a look at proposals to give a new lease of life to a long-disused seafront swimming pool takes place on Tuesday.

St Annes Promenade Gardens Friends have been delighted with the response so far to the plans for the former pool close to The Island in St Annes

The Friends are working with Fylde Council to transform the area into a modern wet play area and members of the public have been invited to give their views on the way forward as the Friends look to raise an initial £3,300 to allow them to apply for funding for the project once plans are finalised.

The last consultation is at the Storytellers Inc bookshop on The Crescent, St Annes on Tuesday, February 28 from 3.30pm to 5pm and Friends chairman Ian Roberts said: “It’s important to find out what water play features young people in St Annes would like to have.”
