A FAMILY-owned hotel has invested £160,000 to transform its dining facilities for guests.
The St Ives Hotel, based on St Annes’ South Promenade, has completed a full upgrade of its restaurant.
The work includes new flooring, decoration, furniture, buffet equipment and central heating and air conditioning.
The work was carried out thanks to a loan from the Royal Bank of Scotland in Blackpool and is aimed at both holidaymakers and locals who want to use the hotel’s restaurant facilities.
The three-star hotel, which is owned and managed by the Webb family, has 71 en-suite bedrooms.
Michael Webb, owner of the St Ives Hotel, said: “We are committed to providing excellent facilities for our guests and have invested significant sum to upgrade our restaurant and dining facilities.
“We aim to create a modern, relaxed dining experience for guests and look forward to welcoming them to the refurbished restaurant.”
Royal Bank of Scotland relationship director Kay Gill, said: “Michael and his staff have worked hard over many years to establish St Ives as one of St Annes’ most popular hotels.
“We are very happy to support their plans and help fund the development of this successful family business.”
The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, a function room, a games room and its own bar.
