Outline plans to demolish a property and build four new homes are set to get the go-ahead.
Wyre Council will consider plans next week to demolish the building at Rainbow, Lancaster Road, Garstang.
The proposal is to replace the existing property with four four-bedroomed detached houses.
The applicants have, at this stage, applied for outline planning permission in relation to the scale, layout and access of the plans.
Planning officers at Wyre Council have recommended the planning committee give that the go-ahead when it meets next Wednesday at the Civic Centre in Poulton.
The plans were originally for six homes, which have now been downscaled to four.
Fifteen objections and two letters of support were received to the original plans, with objections citing matters such as the effect on highway safety and “over-development” of the area.
But a report to members of the committee states: “The proposal is considered to provide appropriately sited dwellings within the site with satisfactory access and there are no highway objections.”
The meeting starts at 2pm.
