Lancashire law firm Napthens has announced its latest intake of trainee solicitors.

Amie Knighton has joined as a trainee within the litigation and dispute management department, and Sophie Coane will focus initially on commercial property.

During their training contracts, the pair will gain experience in a number of Napthens’ different specialist departments.

Amie, from Blackpool, attended Arnold School and recently completed her LPC at the University of Law in Manchester.

Sophie Coane, of Brindle, near Chorley, attended Westholme School in Blackburn. She also completed her LPC at the University of Law in Manchester. Helen Lucking, training partner at Napthens, said: “We are always keen to help the next generation of solicitors find their feet in a competitive industry, and to invest in the future of Napthens itself.

“Amie and Sophie are already proving popular members of their respective teams and we fully expect them to be playing an important role within the firm.”

Meanwhile, Victoria Taylor has recently qualified after completing her training contract at Napthens.

Victoria, of Lytham, is now a solicitor in the wills and estate planning team, advising clients on a range of topics including making and reviewing wills, estate planning matters and lasting powers of attorney.
