Fylde insurance office team gets new owners

Employees at the Aegon offices in Ballam Road, will continue to deliver business process requirements to life and pensions provider, Aegon, under the new management of digital services company, Atos UK&I.

The company has secured a thirteen year contract with Aegon, significantly broadening its presence in the financial sector as a result of the agreement.

Both companies will collaborate to further improve business processes and customer experience for its 500,000 protection customers.

This will be achieved by bringing together advanced IT, hybrid and analytics solutions and integrating them with a retained workforce at Aegon’s Lytham office.

All employees will be subject to TUPE for the commencement of the contract from the on 1 October.

The agreement with Aegon will see Atos managing everything from initial underwriting to claims management.
