Fleetwood-based commercial energy supplier BES Utilities has unveiled a new-look management team as part of its latest recruitment drive.
The company – which supplies gas and electricity to more than 40,000 businesses across the UK – has created a number of key new roles.
The recruitment drive comes after the BES Group expanded its customer services teams last year, taking on more than 50 new employees at its Fleetwood football ground headquarters.
BES Utilities co-founder and director Michelle Davidson said: “Our business has grown significantly over the past few years and that is why we are expanding our teams to ensure we offer a first rate customer service.

“Over the past decade we have grown from a small independent supplier into a group of companies which now employ more than 450 staff here in Fleetwood which is not only great for BES but for the Wyre and North Lancashire economy.”
The new team includes Catherine Hilton, group HR manager, who has more than 10 years’ experience working in contact centres as HR Manager for Fuel Card Services, Sitel and LBM.
Liz Bartholomew, who is head of IT, has more than 30 years of experience with the likes of AXA and United Utilities leading projects within the market reform programme delivering IT and Data changes.
Andrew Aris, head of development, has worked in software development for more than a decade, the last five years with utilities cost recovery company Professional Cost Management Group Limited.
Sean McIver, dialler manager, joins from Convergys where he was responsible for a number of UK and USA based clients before which he worked for British Gas.
Daniel Worth, head of IT support, has 13 years’ experience working in the IT industry, predominately in the public sector.
David Howard, head of IT infrastructure, began his career in the Armed Forces and held a senior infrastructure role within the aerospace industry.
Nathan Jefferson, recruitment manager, owned his own recruitment agency within the hospitality and leisure sector.
Catherine Scott, head of performance optimisation, has more than 15 years’ experience with large multi-channel teams having worked with Inenco, Scottish Power, Asda & Talk Talk.
