Low carbon and energy efficiency specialist to the property sector, Inteb, is celebrating four short listings in Lancashire’s leading business awards, the BIBAs.

Inteb, which has its head office at Bilsborrow and an office at Bromborough on the Wirral, is short listed for Green Company of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Change for Growth and Leadership Team of the Year.

The short listings come as the company has seen tremendous growth and was one of the first two Green Deal Providers in the country able to deliver the Government’s energy efficiency scheme in the commercial sector.

It has also established a new training division and has won a significant contract to write the energy and sustainability training courses for the National Skills Academy.

It said it has expanded its team and is recruiting continuously as new contracts are secured. It has just gained Investors in People Silver.

Inteb’s chief executive, Philip Hargreaves, said: “We are delighted to have four BIBA short listings, which we feel reflect the success of our business model and our four key operating tenets – delivery excellence, technical leadership, service innovation and customer intimacy.

“Despite the recession, the team at Inteb has helped deliver significant growth over each of the last three years and the future looks encouraging.”
