Fylde Joinery & Building Services Ltd have appointed Blackpool based builder Paul Wallis as their contracts manager.
Managing director, Sean O’Toole said: “ Without doubt this is a most important appointment within our award-winning company. Paul is well known to the local construction fraternity as ‘one of the best’.
“I am so delighted he has decided to join our company and am sure Paul will make a valuable contribution to Fylde Joinery & Building Services continued success.”
Paul said: “ I have been given a great opportunity to join a very successful company of 25 years standing and the most wonderful thing from my point of view is that I will be joining my father master builder, Ian Wallis who is the senior site manager of our sister company James Carter Homes.
“My other brother Steve Wallis, sub contracts for James Carter Homes so we are keeping it in the family as such.”
Sean went on to say that over the years he has built up a highly skilled workforce and no job is too small or too big for our contracting division .”
Sean said the company, which employs a dozen people, was founded 20 years ago and has remained busy throughout the economic down-turn.
He added: “We have stayed strong, obviously there was a reduction in the amount of work for a while but we are looking forward to the New Year and are going from strength to strength.
“We have won awards in the past and hope to do so again with the right building projects.”
The company operates as the building arm of the James Carter Homes Group which came together about three years ago.
