Business is booming for an accountancy firm on the Fylde coast, which has experienced so much new trade it has had to double staff levels despite only trading for two months.

Red Dot Chartered Accountants, based on Whitehills Business Park, Blackpool, have only traded since April this year, and have had to recruit to cope with the demand from local businesses.

Director, Peter Neill said, “We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Templeton and Lisa Jones to our team.

“Joining myself, and my wife Andrea, Red Dot Chartered Accountants has doubled our workforce.”

Scott is a fully qualified chartered certified accountant who brings added technical skills to the firm, while Lisa, who is a qualified accounting technician, and is part way through her chartered certified studies, has experience of accounting for owner managed businesses.

Both have previously been employed by local accountancy firms in the area.

Red Dot took on 52 clients in its first two months.

Mr Neill said: “The speed of growth has taken me by surprise, but it shows how well our specialist profit improvement services have been received.

“After all, most business owners are keen to improve sales and profits, so it makes sense to harness the skills we can provide, to help business owners achieve their goals much easier and quicker.”
