Decade's success for software firm
A BLACKPOOL-based software company is celebrating a decade of success.
VoiteQ, which markets kit for a handheld computer system used by warehouses across the country, is growing rapidly.
It employs dozens of people at its Whitehills Business Park headquarters where staff develop software which allows businesses to keep track of products from the moment they go on to high street shelves.

And this year VoiteQ took on two of their biggest clients yet with fashion giant Next and leading supermarket retailer Sainsbury's signing up for its product.
VoiteQ started with just 11 staff, but now has more than 50 on its books.
It installed its first warehouse management system (WMS) at Healds Nites & Day stores in September 1998.
Healds was sold several years ago and the company grew to become VoiteQ.
David Stanhope, VoiteQ's chief executive officer, said: "We have worked extremely hard to build a successful business in a comparatively short period of time.
"Thanks to a tremendous team effort we are profitable, debt free and, with an increasingly impressive customer base, we are now well set to make a real impact in the Retail Sector.
"VoiteQ are very proud of their position today as the UK's largest supplier of voice-directed distribution systems, having supplied hardware, software, services or support to the majority of UK warehouses which have voice implementations."
Other high street companies on its books include WHSmith, Pets at Home, Internacionale and catering giant Brake Brothers.
Roger Byford, CEO of Vocollect, who worked closely with the VoiteQ team on the implementation at Day & Nites Stores, said: "VoiteQ were earlier adopters of new technology and after seeing voice picking in the USA, they brought voice applications over to the UK and created the world's first fully voice directed warehouse.
"Over the last 10 years I've witnessed them work with Vocollect Voice to create new solutions to meet evolving market requirements and grow the company.
"I am delighted to still be involved, as a business partner, as they reach this milestone of working with voice directed systems for 10 years."
