Organisers say they have had an unprecedented number of entries for this year’s Enterprise Vision Awards, which turn the spotlight on the achievements of women in business across the county.

The deadline to enter the Blackpool-based awards, which this year attracted headline sponsor NatWest, is fast approaching.

Those looking to enter or who have been nominated have until midnight on June 28 to submit their full entries, which will then go before judges to be shortlisted.

Those who are successful in reaching the shortlist will then be invited to make a presentation before the panel of judges to fight for the title of winner in their category.

Kerry Kearney of Kirkham-based, Icon Innovation in Hair and winner of the 2012 Customer Service Award, said: “We were absolutely thrilled to win the award as it really recognises the importance we place on the way in which we deliver our service.”

Lisa Spann, of web design agency, Internet Solutions Services Ltd and sponsor of the 2013 Customer Service Award added: “The Enterprise Vision Awards are a fantastic way of celebrating the achievements of your business and highlighting them to your team and clients.

The knock-on effect that past winners have seen from the PR opportunities has made a real difference to their business which is just fantastic to see.”

The winners of the Enterprise Vision Awards will be announced at a glittering ceremony taking place on October 4 at the Hilton Blackpool hotel.
