A CREATIVE CG graphics studio, set up in a house in Lytham, has expanded to a team of 25 in purpose-built studios in Westby.
And realtime:uk boss Tony Prosser can see two clear areas for expansion in the future.
Tony said: “There’s two main sides to the business – the video game side and the branding side.”
The firm does not develop video games, but creates computer-generated movie scenes.
Tony added: “We also make the marketing trailers to promote the games before their launch.”
The firm also produces for car firms – including the prestigious Aston Martin brand.
Tony said: “We create the online car configurations and marketing imagery.
“All of it is entirely computer generated. There’s no film or photographs these days, they’re not real cars any more.
“It enables you to specify every detail of the car down to the stitching and personalisation, even embroidering things on the seats.
“It’s better cost-wise for the manufacturers – they don’t have to get a car of each colour out for brochures.”
The business now has a core staff of 25, but scales up dramatically on contract work when necessary.
And there seems little sign of a slowdown for realtime:uk, despite the tough economic climate.
Tony said: “We’ve been very fortunate that the industries we’re involved in are seeing growth.”
