Helen Broughton of freelance and contractor accountancy specialist Danbro has been named as a North West ambassador for the National Apprenticeship Service.
The firm, which has 11 new payroll and accountancy apprentices starting this month, provides umbrella, limited company and CIS solutions to contract workers throughout the UK.
Danbro founder and director of people and standards, Helen said the firm is delighted to be taking on apprentices and partnering with the National Apprenticeship Service.
She said: “Apprenticeships are a tried and tested path into employment. They are presently enjoying a real resurgence as they enable firms to engage enthusiastic young people and train them with the exact skills they require to future-proof their businesses and deliver growth.”
“As a close-knit family business, Danbro is passionate about creating jobs and helping young people into long, stable careers.
“We could not be more thrilled to be welcoming 11 more apprentices to our team.
“We hope they will be with us long into the future, helping us to drive forward our business and provide an excellent service for contractors and freelancers.”
Danbro currently employs more than 140 staff servicing more than 5,500 contractor clients. It is refurbishing the former Land Registry building in Lytham as a new HQ.
