Sunset Holiday Park’s holiday letting programme was officially launched by Ben Wallace MP and Ruth Connor, CEO Marketing Lancashire.

Present at the Hambleton venue were Tim Dixon and Laura Crabb of Marketing Lancashire, and Lancashire county councillors, Jim Lawrenson and Alf Clempson.

A variety of dignitaries and special guests joined Sandy Taylor and three generations of the Taylor family – Paul, Karen, Rosie and Elliott – to celebrate the grand opening of the new lodge development.

Ruth Connor, chief executive of Marketing Lancashire, said: “The addition of these luxury lodges to Sunset Holiday Park is a fantastic boost to the area and helps to enhance Lancashire’s reputation as quality destination.” Sunset Park is a new kid on the block and the best kept secret Over Wyre when it comes to
self-catering “staycation” holidays.

Luxury lodges are a growing market for family holidays and couples’ retreats.

The Taylor family has invested more than £750k this season in the five top-of-the range, two and three-bedroom holiday lodges.

The family-run business spans three generations; Michael Taylor started the business 43 years ago and it is run today by MD Sandy Taylor,

Sandy said: “The park has always been a quality destination, this investment will enhance expectations and make their holiday with us truly memorable.”
