THIS one wheeled wonder will be making a 20-mile charity trip down the Promenade on Saturday.

Nine-year-old Bobbie Sue Byrne, from South Shore, will be riding from South Pier to Fleetwood and back on her unicycle to raise cash for the RNLI charity.

The youngster recently raised £627 doing a 10-mile charity challenge but this time has recruited friends from Blackpool Circus School to take on a tougher route.

Dad Pete, of Bloomfield Road, said: “I’m so proud of Bobbie. She’s a breath of fresh air and an inspiration to other kids. She has been training very hard by riding 40 to 50 miles each week.

“Children from the Blackpool Circus School have been a big help with donations and training. Hopefully this will inspire others.”
