A bar worker who stalked his ex and threatened she would pay for what she had done pretended to be someone else when police came to call.

Daniel Boothman had told his former girlfriend that he had nothing to lose and he would kill her.

Boothman, 31, of South King Street, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to harassment and possessing amphetamine.

He was bailed for pre-sentence reports with all options including custody to be considered by Blackpool magistrates. He must not go with 100 metres of Shennanigans Bar as a condition of his bail.

Chrissie Hunt, prosecutingm said when police came to question him he pretended not to be himself.

Police identified him by his tattoo.

David Charnley, defending, said the couple had broken up many times and then rekindled their relationship. He now understood it was definitely over.
