THIS is the first look at Blackpool’s newest attraction.
The iconic wedding chapel – which is yet to be named – is currently being built on Blackpool Promenade.
A new image has been released showing the setting in which people will soon be able to get married at Blackpool’s Promenade wedding venue.
The stunning purpose-built building will also comprise a beach cafe or restaurant and brand new Tourist Information Centre.
People will soon be able to get married, share civil partnerships, hold naming ceremonies or re-new their wedding vows at the facility which will be based on the Tower Headland.
Construction is well under way with provisional bookings being taken for ceremonies this autumn.
The building with have two rooms where ceremonies can take place.
The main ceremonies room, holding up to 80 guests, will be available for bookings from Autumn 2011 onwards.
Fees for ceremonies start at just £125.
The construction of the wedding venue is taking place alongside the final phase of work on the Promenade.
