A wander on the wild side

Amelia Hood (seven) with a Lavender Beared Dragon

Amelia Hood (seven) with a Lavender Beared Dragon "Bob" at the Creepy Crawly Road Show at the Sea Life Centre, Blackpool.

HAVE you ever wanted to know what a tarantula’s hair feels like or how smooth the skin of a snake is?

These youngsters explored the wild side of nature at Blackpool’s Sea Life Centre during half term.

Visitors learned all there was to know about everything from cockroaches to snakes and stick insects to spiders.

Jenn Newton, general manager, said: “We love sharing new experiences with our visitors and we wanted to bring them something different.”
