A woman burglar went on the run after missing her train.

Michelle Hunter had been bailed on the condition she lived at a bail hostel in Hull, but she never arrived there.

Hunter, 26, of Charnley Road, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a bail condition.

District Judge David Purcell, sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court, agreed to rebail her on the conditions she lived at her given address and reported daily to the police.

Prosecutor Pam Smith said Hunter had pleaded guilty to burgling a house in Blackpool. She had been bailed for pre-sentence reports on the condition she lived at a bail hostel in Hull.

She never arrived there and was arrested in Blackpool in the early hours of November 19.
