A Thornton theatre school raised £70 for Brian House Children’s Hospice with an all singing, all dancing Christmas show.
Pupils from the Starlight Stage School, which is based at Holly Road in Thornton, performed on stage last month.
The aim of the night was to raise money for the school which started just last year, but Trinity was also given a donation.
School principal Charlotte Longworth said: “We were delighted with the success of our Christmas Showcase.
“Lauren Stephens, one of our students, also ran a name the bear contest as part of her Baden Powell guiding badge – and with that alongside our raffle, we were pleased to donate £70 to Brian House.
“We delivered the money personally and were given a tour.
“They have such wonderful facilities there - including the multi sensory room which is amazing.
“It was really nice to see where our money would be going and to meet some of the children.”
