A BLACKPOOL man is to appear in court today after police discovered cocaine worth £1m in cars in central Blackpool.
Officers pulled over the two vehicles and seized three kilogrammes of high grade narcotics.
The cars were stopped close to each other in a random check by uniform officers on Collingwood Place and Talbot Road on Thursday afternoon.
And detectives believe the Class A drugs recovered could have been worth £1m if mixed with cutting agents to bulk it up before being sold on the streets.
Jeremy Lowe, 47, Queens Promenade, Bispham, will appear at Blackpool Magistrates Court today charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
A 37-year-old man, from Manchester, was arrested on the same allegations and remains in police custody.
A 43-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man, both from Blackpool, were also brought in for questioning on charges of possessing cocaine with intent to supply and have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
