Young dancers set for venue change

CHESTERS Dancing Academy are moving to a new venue at the end of this month.

For the last 20 years the dance troupe have been based at St Paul's Church hall on Darbishire Road.

But from Tuesday May 27 the dance school will be holding rehearsals at the Time Stage School premises on Victoria Street, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

In the meantime Chesters are staging the Showtime 08 production at the town's Marine Hall on May 21, 22 and 23.

It will start at 7.30pm each night.

The show will give the youngsters a chance to show off their skills in ballet, song and dance, jazz, tap and modern styles.

Taking part are young dancers aged from just three and a half years old, right up to 25.

To obtain tickets, including reserved tickets (5), adults (4) and children/OAPs (3.50) contact dance principal Christine Cheeseman on (01253) 778254.
