Velocity top off rock fest

FLEETWOOD are you ready to rock? You better be because on the October 3rd, 4th and 5th Fleetwoodstock will be at the Marine Hall.

There will be a very varied line up this year. Fridays headline act is blues veteran Ian Siegal supporting him on the night will be Glyn Bailey and the Many Splendid Things, the Nick Dow Blues Band and the Lyndon Anderson Band. Also for the first time ever this year after the concert on Friday

night there will be an after show party.

On the Saturday the headline act will be The Quireboys who will be supported by Havet Bainbridge & Nik Turner and Devil 2 pay.

The headline act on the Sunday promises to be something special as they are from right here on the Fylde – the band's name . . . Velocity. They will be being supported by Unique/myspace for Unique, The Pink Torpedoes, The Cardinals, Ruff Diamonds, The JEPS, Stephanie Fraser, The Glove

Dazamakiz.

Organiser Simon Brayshaw said "It will be a very varied line up – basically something to suit everyone.

"The atmosphere is always fantastic and this year looks like being no exception."
