Pizza the action hits Cleveleys

Cleveleys restaurant manager Paula Rigby and her team are hoping to grab a “pizza the action” with the launch of a new meal deal.
Pizza Hut at Jubilee Park, North Promenade, Cleveleys is part of the national chain’s new meals promotions and Paula is bracing herself for the rush of customers she is confident will be out to save money.
The new happy hour promotion runs from 3 to 5pm every Monday to Friday – trimming an hour off the previous time but now offering a main course (pizza, pasta or unlimited salad) plus a side dish, unlimited salad, a side dish and a drink for just £5 with the option of a dessert at £1 extra and a drink top up at 50p.
There are now four different dough bases (pan, thin Italian, cheesy bites and stuffed crust) all in regular and large sizes.
.A daytime £6.99 unlimited pizza, pasta and salad buffet also offers a free child’s meal until 3pm and £5 vouchers are being given away for anyone’s next visit.
“We’ve a variety of new recipes which started this week as well and all sorts of incentives,” said Paula, who has been at the Cleveleys branch of Pizza Hit for four of its six years. “With the new ice rink next door and summer blockbusters at the Vue Cinema such as the new Pirates of the Caribbean blockbuster we are expecting boost to business.”
The restaurant, which eats up to 150 people as well as boasting an outside alfresco area for another dozen, has an alcohol licence and accepts advance reservations.
“Bookings are always welcome which is something a lot of people don’t seem to realise,” says Paula. “We even have a feedback service which proves a two for one voucher and the chance to win big prizes.”
Open from 11.30am to 9.30pm Sunday to Thursday and until 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
