Show's all relative!

Maureen Nolan (right) is the latest family member to appear in the record breaking musical Blood Brothers at Blackpool Grand Theatre.

The singing family went into the Guinness Book of Records when Maureen became the fourth of the singing family to star in the show, following her sisters Bernie, Denise and Linda in the role of Mrs Johnstone.

This will be her first home town appearance in the show.

Willy Russell's award-winning musical Blood Brothers is at Blackpool Grand Theatre from Monday, June 22 to Saturday, July 4.

Blood Brothers is the tale of twin boys, separated at birth, only to be re-united by a twist of fate and a mother's haunting secret.

Written by Willy Russell, Blood Brothers is set in Liverpool in 1962.

Mrs Johnstone and her family live in a poor part of the city, in stark contrast to Mr and Mrs Lyons who live a much more comfortable life in the sophisticated end of town. Mrs Johnstone is deserted by her husband and takes a job as a housekeeper to make ends meet. But her fragile world comes crashing down when she discovers she is pregnant again – with twins. In a moment of desperation she enters a secret pact with her employer, only to see the situation spiral out of control and lead to the show's shattering climax.

The smash hit contains numbers such as Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and Tell Me It's Not True.

Performances are Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm with Thursday and Saturday matinees at 2pm. Tickets from 10.50. Concessions and Friends of the Grand discount available. Group, schools and students rates also available.

She then went on tour in Stardust and starred as Sadie in Girls Behind. Over the years Maureen has also been in numerous pantomimes from Snow White, Babes in the Wood and Sleeping Beauty to Cinderella.

Maureen has recently appeared again on television in Ant and Dec Saturday Night Take Away, All Time Greatest Party Songs, Loose Women and many other shows.

Blood Brothers was originally commissioned from writer Willy Russell by Paul Harman's Merseyside Young People's Theatre Company (at the Everyman Theatre) for secondary school children.

It was first performed as a play at Fazakerley Comprehensive, Liverpool in November 1981.
