Recording in real style
Blackpool's Rock Hard Studios is now open and taking bookings for rehearsals with a recording studio soon to follow.
Operating from Unit 4, Cocker Street Trading Estate, Blackpool, FY1 2EP, Rock Hard is now running the Jam Nights at the Royal Oak in Poulton and is working hard to encourage younger bands to play music, and support them by providing Rock Hard Live Teenage Gigs from next month.
With each rehearsal room 200sq ft, equipped with a quality drum kit, bass amp, guitar amp and PA, if you want to play music you’ll be well looked after, says Andrew Cox from Rock Hard. “But that’s not where it ends,” he adds. “This is a rehearsal experience unlike any in town. We have free tea, coffee and hot chocolate and a fully stocked biscuit tin!
“And still there’s more. In our chill-out room we have a 40in plasma screen hooked up to a PlayStation and N64, with a Freeview box, dvd and video player. Last but not least, we are musicians and really understand what musicians want and need – and that clean and tidy, welcoming and comfortable is not a bad thing!”
Rates are currently 20 for four hours. More details from (07837) 411768 or (07921) 455258.
